Privacy Policy

X Pulse never sends your personal data to any external server.

X Pulse is built with a strict Ghost Architecture. All data processed by the extension remains 100% on your local device within your browser storage. We operate no cloud telemetry, no analytics databases, and no remote data collectors.

While you naturally browse X.com (formerly Twitter), the extension passively inspects X's own network responses to extract:

• Follower & Following Relationships — Information on who follows your account and whom you follow.
• Public Profile Information — Handles, display names, avatars, bios, follower counts, and verification badges of accounts you interact with or view.
• Account Totals — Your total follower and following statistics for local analytics curves.

The extension never issues automated web requests or API calls on your behalf. It strictly listens to the traffic your browser already initiates during standard page navigation.

All extracted relationships and user settings are stored strictly inside your browser using Chrome extension storage APIs:

• IndexedDB — Stores user relationship records locally for fast sorting and searching.
• chrome.storage.local — Stores local extension preferences, targets, and counters.

This data is never synced to external servers, cloud services, or third parties. It is completely isolated to your extension installation.

X Pulse requests minimal, scoped permissions required for core functionality:

• storage — Required to save user settings and relationship indexes locally.
• unlimitedStorage — Required to allow local storage for accounts with large follower graphs without browser quota errors.
• sidePanel — Required to provide summary statistics in Chrome's side panel UI.
• *://*.x.com/* & *://*.twitter.com/* — Scoped host permissions to observe network responses on X/Twitter pages and inject status indicators.

X Pulse contains no third-party tracking scripts, ad networks, or external analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel).

In accordance with Chrome Web Store policy, all executable scripts are packaged directly inside the extension. There is no remote code execution (eval() or dynamic CDN scripts).

You have full ownership and control over your data at all times:

• Data Export — You can export your dataset to local CSV or JSON files at any time.
• Permanent Erasure — Clicking "DELETE ENTIRE DATABASE" in the extension Settings instantly purges all local storage.
• Uninstallation — Removing the extension from Chrome permanently deletes all local IndexedDB and extension storage.

X Pulse does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13. Because all operations run on-device without remote servers, the extension complies fully with COPPA and global privacy standards.
