Twitter Default Following never collects, stores, or transmits any data whatsoever.

Twitter Default Following is a minimal, privacy-focused Chrome extension with a single purpose: automatically switching to the "Following" tab when you open Twitter/X, bypassing the algorithmic "For You" feed. The extension contains zero data collection capabilities by design.

The extension performs one simple action:

• Tab Switching — When you navigate to twitter.com or x.com, the extension automatically clicks the "Following" tab to show your chronological feed instead of the algorithmic "For You" feed.

The extension does not:

• Read, collect, or process any page content
• Access your tweets, messages, or profile information
• Monitor your browsing activity or history
• Make any network requests or API calls
• Store any data in local storage, cookies, or IndexedDB

Twitter Default Following stores absolutely no data:

• No chrome.storage usage
• No localStorage or IndexedDB usage
• No cookies or session data
• No user preferences or settings (the extension has no configuration)

The extension is fully stateless. It performs its tab-switching action and exits immediately with no persistent footprint.

Twitter Default Following requests the absolute minimum permissions:

• *://*.x.com/* & *://*.twitter.com/* — Scoped host permissions to inject a small content script that clicks the "Following" tab on Twitter/X pages.

The extension does not request storage, tabs, history, cookies, webRequest, or any other sensitive permissions. It only operates on Twitter/X domains.

Twitter Default Following contains no third-party tracking scripts, ad networks, or external analytics SDKs.

In accordance with Chrome Web Store policy, all executable scripts are packaged directly inside the extension. There is no remote code execution (eval() or dynamic CDN scripts). The extension is open-source and publicly auditable on GitHub.

Twitter Default Following does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13. Because the extension stores no data and performs no network communication, it complies fully with COPPA and global privacy standards.
