Bricks Saga: Neon Breaker — Ultimate Brick Breaking Quest
Effective Date: June 23, 2026 · Last updated: October 8, 2026
TL;DR — Bricks Saga stores all your high scores, levels, unlocked skins, and coins locally on your device. If you turn on Play Games Cloud Sync, a copy of your progress is also saved to your Google Play Games account. We do not run proprietary database servers to collect your personal identification info, but we use the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK to serve ads, which collects device identifiers, such as the advertising ID, for ad delivery.
Introduction
MEDEV Studios ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Bricks Saga mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of our App.
We are dedicated to safeguarding player privacy. Beyond localized gameplay state tracking, our data processing is restricted to necessary service execution via Google services: ad delivery (Google AdMob), ad consent (Google User Messaging Platform) and, only if you turn it on, cloud save (Google Play Games Services).
Information We Collect
Bricks Saga does not host registration portals or accounts of its own; the only cloud synchronization is the optional Google Play Games cloud save described in Section 03. We also integrate the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). As a result, Google may collect and process:
- Device Metadata — IP address, operating system version, device model, carrier, network connection parameters, and screen specifications.
- Ad Identifiers — The Google Advertising ID (GAID) or similar device advertising identifiers used for ad placement and performance metrics.
- Diagnostics — Anonymized crash telemetry and loading performance logs associated with rendering ad units.
Local Storage & Cloud Save
The App saves your gameplay progress locally using Android SharedPreferences. This configuration is stored on your device and consists of:
- Your lifetime score records and statistics.
- Completed sectors, star ratings and current level locks.
- Coins balance, active daily quests progression, owned booster inventory, and the supply drop timer.
- Unlocked ball skin choices, audio mute, vibration, graphics, animation and language preferences, and whether cloud sync is turned on.
- The time the last full-screen ad was shown, used to space ads out.
- Your ad consent choice, which Google's consent SDK stores on the device.
None of this information is transmitted to MEDEV Studios. If Android device backup is turned on, Android may back up your progress and settings to your Google account and restore them when you reinstall the App.
Optional cloud save. Cloud sync is off by default (guest mode). If you turn on Play Games Cloud Sync in Settings, the App signs you in to Google Play Games and saves a copy of your progress (scores and statistics, levels and stars, coins, quests, boosters, skins, and sound, vibration, graphics and animation settings) to Google Play Games Saved Games in your Google account. The copy is updated as you play, for example when you return to the menu or leave the App, and is loaded and merged when you start the App or tap Sync Now, so you can continue on another device. Turning cloud sync off stops further uploads but does not delete the copy already saved; you can delete it from the Google Play Games app.
Deleting the App clears the progress stored on your device. It does not delete a copy kept in Google Play Games or in your Android device backup.
Device Permissions
To enable standard gameplay features, Bricks Saga requests these system access permissions:
- Vibration (`android.permission.VIBRATE`) — Used to trigger dynamic tactile haptics when balls bounce or bricks break.
- Internet Access (`android.permission.INTERNET` & `ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`) — Required to fetch and display rewarded or interstitial ad feeds from AdMob networks, to show the ad consent form, and, if you turn on cloud sync, to reach Google Play Games.
- Advertising ID (`com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID`) — Lets the Google Mobile Ads SDK read your device's resettable advertising ID for ad delivery and measurement. The SDK also adds Android's ad services permissions (`ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID`, `ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION`, `ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS`).
Libraries bundled with the App also declare `WAKE_LOCK` and `FOREGROUND_SERVICE` for their own background task scheduling. These are all install-time permissions that Android grants automatically; the App does not request runtime permissions such as location, camera, contacts or storage. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
Third-Party Data Practices
We utilize the following service providers to fund development, offer free reward mechanics and provide optional cloud saves:
- Google AdMob — Used for optional rewarded videos (continue after a game over, double a level's coin bonus, or open a free supply drop in the shop) and for full-screen ads when you return to the main menu, at most once every 5 minutes. You can review their policies at: Google Privacy & Terms.
- Google User Messaging Platform — Collects and stores your ad consent choices.
- Google Play Games Services — Optional sign-in and cloud save (Saved Games), used only if you turn on cloud sync. Bricks Saga does not use Play Games leaderboards or achievements.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform, a Consent Management Platform (CMP), to ask for consent before any ads are requested, as required by the GDPR. You can change your choice at any time from Ad Privacy Options in the App's Settings.
Children's Online Protection
We do not knowingly market to or request information from children under 13. The App itself does not ask for names, contact details or other personal information, but it is not designed for children under 13: its ads are served by Google AdMob, which uses the device's advertising ID as described in Section 02, and the App's ad requests are not tagged for child-directed treatment.
