Privacy Policy

MEDEV Studios ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Animix: Magic Merge mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our App, how it is used, and your choices.

Animix: Magic Merge is a merge puzzle game where you combine magical items, collect pets, clear fog, and explore a mystical island across 1,000 levels. Your core game progress is stored locally on your device and does not require an account or internet connection to play.

Animix: Magic Merge is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not require user registration, login, or any personal information to play the game.

Data stored locally on your device:

• Level progress and star ratings (1-3 stars per level)
• Coins earned and spent in-game
• Energy balance and refill timestamps
• Pet collection (unlocked pets and active mascot)
• Total merge count and gameplay statistics
• Tutorial completion status
• Game settings (sound effects, music, vibration)

This data is stored using SharedPreferences (Android device-local key-value storage) and is never transmitted to our servers.

Animix: Magic Merge uses Google AdMob to display three types of advertisements:

• Rewarded Video Ads — Optional ads players can watch to earn extra moves when a level fails, or to double coin rewards upon level completion
• Interstitial Ads — Full-screen ads shown between levels (not shown on the first 3 levels, limited to every 3 levels thereafter)
• Banner Ads — Small ads displayed at the bottom of the map screen

Google AdMob may collect the following data for ad personalization and delivery:

• Advertising ID (can be reset or disabled in device settings)
• Device type and operating system version
• General location (country/region level, not precise GPS)
• App usage data for ad frequency and relevance

You can opt out of ad personalization at any time via your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

The global leaderboard feature is powered by Google Play Games Services. If you connect your Google Play Games account:

• Your chosen gamer display name and avatar will be visible to other players on the leaderboard
• Your scores (total score, total stars) will be submitted to Google's servers
• You can manage or delete your Play Games profile at any time from the Play Games app

Leaderboard participation is completely optional. You can play the full game without connecting to Google Play Games. If you are not signed in, your scores remain local to your device.

The following third-party services are integrated into the App:

We do not integrate Facebook SDKs, Firebase Analytics, third-party marketing platforms, or data brokers.

Animix: Magic Merge features virtual currencies (coins and energy) that are earned through gameplay:

• Coins — Earned by completing levels, watching rewarded ads, or achieving star bonuses
• Energy — Regenerates over time and is used to play levels

These virtual currencies have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. All balances are stored locally on your device.

The App does not currently include in-app purchases. If in-app purchases are added in the future, all transactions will be processed through the Google Play Store, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

Animix: Magic Merge is suitable for all ages and does not collect personal information from any user, including children. The App does not require registration or account creation.

Ads shown in the App are served by Google AdMob. If your device is configured as a child's device or has parental controls enabled, Google may serve age-appropriate ads accordingly.

If you believe a child has inadvertently provided personal information through the App, please contact us at contact@medevstudios.com and we will take immediate steps to address it.

Depending on your region, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, KVKK, or similar regulations:

• Delete local save data — Uninstall the App or clear App data in Settings
• Opt out of ad personalization — Device Settings → Google → Ads
• Delete Play Games profile — Via the Google Play Games app
• Request information — Contact us about any data processing related to the App

Since we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is no account data for us to delete. All game data resides locally on your device.

All game data is stored locally on your device using standard Android platform storage mechanisms (SharedPreferences). No game data is transmitted over the internet except when:

• Google AdMob loads and displays advertisements
• Google Play Games submits scores to leaderboards (if opted in)

These communications are encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Effective Date." Significant changes will be communicated via an in-app notice or the App's store listing.
